Carnival Cruise Line is launching a new fantasy-class cruise ship in August and it looks like they may have made the most out of their redesign. The company hired artist, photographer and fashion designer Camille Nordman to create an art installation for the rear of the vessel.
The “carnival dream dry dock 2021” is a new livery for the first fantasy-class Carnival Cruise Ship. The ship will be sailing in 2021.

There was also standard hotel maintenance and aesthetic changes in addition to the new livery. This usually include new tiling, carpeting, and small adjustments across the ship’s many departments.
The Carnival cruise ship, which initially sailed in 1998, has already completed a total of five excellent dry docks, the most recent of which was in 2018 owing to all of the new FUN 2.0 additions. The navy blue officer uniforms and the iconic Carnival colors atop the funnel inspired the new livery design for the Fantasy-class vessel. During a dry dock in Marseilles, France, in July and early June, the Carnival Magic was the first ship to get the new design.

Seven other ships have gotten the new appearance since Carnival Magic’s dry dock, including the freshly remodeled Carnival Radiance, which just returned to the United States.
The hull artwork of the new Mardi Gras was added during construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. The Carnival Sunshine is the next new livery to debut. The ship is now undergoing a thorough inspection at a shipyard in Cadiz, Spain.
