Carnival Cruise Line has announced that the first two sailings of their new Panorama series will take place on March 10 and 11, 2019. The company has also provided an update on how they plan to handle the thousands of passengers who have signed up for these cruises.

On August 21, the Carnival Panorama will become the seventh Carnival cruise ship to begin service. The ship will be the first to sail again from Long Beach, California. Even if the Vista-class ship’s joy is returning, the issue of keeping guests and crew safe remains uncertain.
As a consequence, passengers booked on the first two departures from Long Beach have received an important information from the cruise company. The ports of call for the August 21 and 28 voyages have been rearranged.

As part of its Mexican Riviera cruises, Carnival Panorama will stop in the Mexican ports of Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta. For the first two sailings, however, the sequence in which the ship visits has been reversed.
On Tuesday, the ship will make its first stop at Puerto Vallarta, arriving at 8:00 a.m. and leaving at 8:00 p.m. The following day’s call will be in Mazatlan, with an arrival time of 9:00 AM and a departure time of 6:00 PM. Cabo San Lucas will be the last port of call on Thursday, with an arrival time of 7:00 AM and a departure time of 3:00 PM.

The trips also feature three sea days, with embarking and disembarkation on Saturdays, as is customary. Carnival Panorama Face Mask Update
There’s also an update on face masks in Carnival’s “Important Information” message, which informs visitors on what they’ll need when they go ashore.
Guests who do go ashore, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a face mask at all times inside and outside. Some exceptions exist, such as while eating, drinking, or swimming.
The procedures are somewhat more stringent during the stop in Mazatlan, Mexico, since passengers must be prepared to present their immunization records at specific onshore locations. This only applies to individuals who explore individually rather than on a cruise line-arranged shore excursion.
This is in response to the fleet’s recent implementation of a new mask requirement. All visitors, even those who have been completely vaccinated, are now encouraged to wear a mask inside. Elevators, retail stores, casinos, and entertainment areas are all good places to wear a mask.
This Saturday, the Carnival Panorama will finally take sail with passengers aboard. The new changes to the trip should have little effect since the ports will stay the same and mask rules will already be in place aboard.
