Disney Cruise Line is the latest company to join the Thanksgiving Day Parade with a float themed after Disney’s animated movie “Wish.” The float will feature Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Tinkerbell, and Pluto.

On November 25, the Disney Cruise Line will sail down 34th Street to Macy’s Herald Square in New York City to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
The cruise company will participate with a brand-new cruise ship float called “Magic Meets the Sea,” which is based on Disney’s newest ship, the Disney Wish, which is set to sail next summer.

During the Thanksgiving parade on November 25, a ship sailing through the streets of New York will be a sight to see. The ship, which has a beautiful and creative design, gives passengers a sneak peek at what they may anticipate when Disney Wish debuts in the summer of 2022.
Along with the float, 15 beloved Disney characters will depict the stories, fairy tales, and adventures found aboard the cruise line’s exciting new ship.

Mickey Mouse, the ship’s captain; Princess Tiana, the heroine of a new interactive adventure; Aladdin and Jasmine, the stars of a new Broadway-style play aboard; and, of course, Cinderella, whose magnificent bronze statue will adorn the ship’s fairytale-inspired Grand Hall.

Our float will be a celebration of wonderful Disney stories, adored characters, and wishes come true, much like the Disney Wish.”
When she cruises through the streets of New York City, the ship will be immediately recognized. The iconic Disney red funnels and Mickey Mouse color scheme will make it difficult to overlook.

Disney’s Wish Is Excitedly Awaited
Disney has been releasing small tidbits of information about what we may expect onboard Disney Wish in recent months, guaranteeing that the ship is fast becoming one of the most anticipated ships for 2022.
A new “Avengers: Quantum Encounter” at the Worlds of Marvel restaurant, Quiet Cove, an 18-years-plus isolated adults-only area devoted to relaxing, drinking, and bathing, and many additional adult-only bars and lounges are among the attractions that Disney has unveiled in recent months.
Disney Cruise Line is to substantially increase its fleet of ships during the next three years. Three additional ships are expected to be delivered in 2022, 2024, and 2025. In the summer of 2022, Disney Wish will set sail.

Liquefied natural gas will power all three new ships, making it a considerably greener alternative to heavy fuel oil. Disney Wish and her two sisters will be somewhat bigger than the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy, with 144,000 gross tonnage and 1,250 guest cabins.
The ship will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, on three- and four-night excursions to Nassau, Bahamas, and Disney’s own island of Castaway Cay.
