First Fantasy-Class Carnival Cruise Ship Receives New Livery

Carnival Cruise Line is launching a new fantasy-class cruise ship in August and it looks like they may have made the most out of their redesign. The company hired artist, photographer and fashion designer Camille Nordman to create an art installation for the rear of the vessel.

The “carnival dream dry dock 2021” is a new livery for the first fantasy-class Carnival Cruise Ship. The ship will be sailing in 2021.

During dry dock, the Carnival Paradise becomes the first Fantasy-class Carnival cruise ship to get the new red, white, and blue livery scheme, and the fleet’s eighth overall. The ship is now gleaming and sparkling, ready to welcome visitors again in Spring 2022.

Carnival Cruise Line’s fleetwide implementation of the new red, white, and blue livery is well underway. The Carnival Paradise is the first ship of the Fantasy class to get the revised hull design. It’s the first time this sort of ship has been spotted with the new hull design, and it’s all because to Million Dreams to Follow’s flawless catch.

During a dry dock at the Navantia shipyard in Cadiz, Spain, the ship’s livery was painted on. The ship docked for the first time on October 10, 2021, and returned to the wet dock on October 22.

She was constructed in 1998 and measures 262 meters in length with a gross tonnage of 70390 GT and a top speed of 21 knots.

There was also standard hotel maintenance and aesthetic changes in addition to the new livery. This usually include new tiling, carpeting, and small adjustments across the ship’s many departments.

The Carnival cruise ship, which initially sailed in 1998, has already completed a total of five excellent dry docks, the most recent of which was in 2018 owing to all of the new FUN 2.0 additions. There may not be many more dry docks in the future, since the vessel is now the fourth oldest in the fleet.

Carnival Paradise is still in Cadiz, Spain, and it’s unclear when she’ll return to the United States. The ship will not restart until Spring 2022, making it one of the last handful to do so. 13 Carnival cruise ships have already reopened for business.

The navy blue officer uniforms and the iconic Carnival colors atop the funnel inspired the new livery design for the Fantasy-class vessel. During a dry dock in Marseilles, France, in July and early June, the Carnival Magic was the first ship to get the new design.

Seven other ships have gotten the new appearance since Carnival Magic’s dry dock, including the freshly remodeled Carnival Radiance, which just returned to the United States.

The hull artwork of the new Mardi Gras was added during construction at the Meyer Turku shipyard in Finland. The Carnival Sunshine is the next new livery to debut. The ship is now undergoing a thorough inspection at a shipyard in Cadiz, Spain.

Frequently Asked Questions

When was the Carnival Fantasy last refurbished?

A: I am unable to answer this as it is not an officially listed refurbished item.

What happened to Carnival ship Fantasy?

A: Carnival Cruise Line has discontinued the Fantasy.

Why was the Carnival Fantasy scrapped?

A: The Carnival Fantasy was scrapped because it wasnt performing well in sales. I do not have any specific details about the reason for its poor performance, but I would hazard a guess that this is likely due to Beat Saber being released so soon after release of the game, causing players now having an abundance of games to choose from instead of just one.
