Stuttgart Reopens Its Renowned European Christmas Markets for 2021

The “stuttgart christmas market 2021” is a city that will be reopening its renowned European Christmas Markets for the first time in six years. Stuttgart, in southwest Germany, has declared that its Christmas markets will reopen this year, after being closed over the 2020 holiday season due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Safety precautions and social separation will be in place when the three Christmas markets reopen this month. With the coming of the winter season, the streets of Stuttgart and the surrounding area are transformed into magical outdoor markets, complete with thousands of sparkling fairy lights.

This year, the major market on Stuttgart’s Schlossplatz, the baroque market at Ludwigsburg Castle, and the medieval Christmas market in Esslingen’s picturesque half-timbered village will all reopen with longer hours and additional attractions.

Stuttgart’s main Christmas market (Stuttgarter Weihnachtsmarkt) is one of Europe’s most attractive, as well as one of its oldest, dating back over 300 years. It will take place from November 24 to December 30 this year, and will extend from the New Palace to Schiller Square.
