Egypt… “Where the Pharoahs Walked”
Egypt is so many things that it is hard to describe. It is ancient and colorful, with exotic smells and bustling with life, sounds and visual beauty. Egypt is probably the oldest vacation spot in the world. Romans, Greeks and others came here for fun and to see man’s earliest wonders and triumphs. There is no more romantic experience than a cruise down the Nile in sight of temples and villages, where children wave and run alongside the banks. Upper Egypt, with its’ Nubian customs still intact, has a distinctly African atmosphere. Aswan, small and friendly, has some of the best shopping bargains that can be found along the Corniche. And Egypt is more than pyramids and monuments, it is hot nightspots, casinos, and five star restaurants - and did I mention shopping?
