From May to September 2022, Victory Cruise Lines revealed excursion highlights for the 186-passenger Ocean Victory’s first season of 12- and 13-day Alaska Inside Passage cruises between Vancouver and Sitka.

The ship will focus on such experiential activities as deploying kayaks and Zodiacs with expedition leaders, viewing wildlife from sliding observation platforms, and watching California Polytech University students conduct research thanks to its patented X-Bow design and smaller size, which allows it to hug the coast and dock in Alaska’s smaller ports.

“My most memorable travel experiences have always been trips of total immersion – whether it was in a culture, an environment, a location, or just being immersed with my family and other travelers,” says Victory Cruise Lines chairman John Waggoner.

“Alaska is a wonderful location, and our Ocean Victory expedition sailings were designed to provide guests with an unrivaled degree of immersion so they may experience this unique area like no before.”

Travelers will have the opportunity to visit the Anan Creek Bear and Animals Observatory, where they will be able to photograph forest wildlife and board a jet boat from Wrangel to the Anan trailhead via the Eastern Passage.

They may also visit the Five Finger Whale Lighthouse, which is situated at the junction of Stephen’s Passage and is home to stellar sea lions, harbor seals, sea otters, harbor porpoises, transient killer whales, and humpback whales.
