The cruise line’s first ship to resume to operation after the COVID-19 epidemic shut down traveling across the world last March was the Majestic Princess.

The week-long round-trip journey of the Majestic Princess from Seattle featured stops in Glacier Bay National Park, Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan.

Passengers on these summer cruises will experience genuine Alaska-themed activities as well as iconic ports, majestic glaciers, and local attractions, thanks to Princess’ award-winning “North to Alaska” program. The program aims to immerse visitors in the culture, customs, and distinctive seafood of The Last Frontier with the assistance of colorful local characters.

In addition, Princess’ trademark specialty cuisine, Movies Under the Stars, stage performances, and Discovery@SEA activities will thrill visitors. Original musicals, game shows, magic acts, performances by renowned comedians, and feature film screenings are just a few of the entertainment choices available onboard the Majestic Princess.

“When I was sailing with our guests aboard Majestic Princess for our inaugural Return to Alaska trip, I remarked to them, ‘Welcome back to Princess,’” said Princess Cruises President Jan Swartz. “Alaska has always been at the heart of Princess Cruises, and it has played a significant role in shaping who we are today. I personally conveyed my appreciation to our port partners and elected leaders who were crucial in our homecoming and joined me in cordially greeting visitors to their beautiful towns when visiting ports of call.”

Princess Cruises will resume service from the ports of Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Fort Lauderdale in the fall of 2021. Between September 25 and November 28, eight of Princess’ MedallionClass ships will resume excursions to the California coast, Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, and the Panama Canal, among other locations.

Cruisegoers who can provide evidence of receiving the last dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccination at least 14 days prior to their cruise’s departure are eligible for Princess Cruises’ 2021 sailings. The crews will also be immunized according to CDC recommendations.
